Top 3 Transfers

Despite what some people called the dullest transfer window of all time, there have been some very shrewd signings to say the least. Though its not clear how, or if, these signings will fulfil their potentials it is clear that the mouthwatering prospects that have swapped clubs this year are going to promote and excite the Premier League.

Here's my top 3:

1. Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez (8mil): This Mexican born centre forward could add a new dimension to Manchester United with his natural finishing ability and raw pace. These attributes could be the ingredients for success in a team that demands "Goals!Goals!Goals!" from its players.In conclusion, Chicharito could be the perfect 15-20 goal a season striker Manchester united need and could even be the spearhead of an attack in the United first team.

2. Joe Cole (free): After being snubbed by Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti and consequently hailed "not intelligent enough" by the Italian, Liverpool were more than happy to gobble up the still widely regarded "world class playmaker" on a free. To me this sees a particularly sterling buy for a cash stricken side looking to regain there status as one of Europe's elite.

3. Ben Foster (6mil): After spending most of last season in the reserves at Man utd, Foster's Prosperous future seemed to be in decline. Meanwhile as Joe Hart's loan deal expires in the west midlands, he consequently returns to Man city after a reputation building twelve months at Birmingham. Subsequently a vacancy appears in the black country and Foster duly fills that gap, after a successful first month with the brummies Foster looks to generate the consistency required for an England spot.
