Capello's stock rises, but should it?

Here we go again, after a 4-0 defeat of Bulgaria us England fans think we're unstoppable. Well scoring 4 goals against a defence that looked more disorientated than Piers Morgan after an all-you-can-eat Pizza Hut buffet simply isn't good enough.

As our Phlegmatic pedestrian of a manager looked on, even he realised that its going to take alot more than a home win against a very technical Bulgaria to win back his pre world cup reputation. Justifiably, the public have every right to feel ashamed of a man who earns an over inflated 6 million pound a year pay check.

Despite this there were some signs of encouragement to take out of this game as a Rooney + Defoe partnership managed to equal a fine goalscorers hatrick  that anyone would be proud of. In addition to this Steven Gerrard seemed to be very comfortable in the centre of midfield as most of the attacks seemed to revolve around him.

Perhaps the injuries to Terry and Lampard may be the best thing that ever happened to England as a fresh and fearless England side looked to revoke their world beater status they had only just began to earn.
